NYKFFI Acceptance of Terms

General Terms

1. Only kites and strings (manja) made from legal and safe materials shall be used.
2. The use of nylon, synthetic, or Chinese manja is strictly prohibited under all circumstances.
3. Kite flying shall be conducted only in open grounds or designated areas approved by the administration or declared safe for such activities.
4. Kite flying is strictly prohibited near roads, highways, substations, airport zones, and crowded public places.
5. Any form of betting, gambling, or illegal competitive activity is strictly prohibited.
6. Considering environmental protection, only eco-friendly cotton thread manja and materials shall be used at the event venue (Rules Ground).
7. After use, broken kites, manja, and other waste materials must be disposed of in designated waste bins and not left in open areas.
8. During competitions or practice sessions, all participants must follow the instructions and schedules issued by the organizing authority.
9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Organizing Committee and Federation shall be final and binding.
10. Violation of these rules may result in warning, suspension, disqualification from competition, or cancellation of federation membership.
11. Intentionally damaging another participant’s kite, manja, or equipment shall be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
12. Any form of aggressive behavior, abuse, threats, or derogatory remarks based on caste, religion, or gender is strictly prohibited.
13. The use of drones, laser lights, fireworks, or any hazardous equipment during kite flying activities is prohibited.
14. Every participant must carry their identification (ID card / registration slip) at the event venue.
15. Temporary shops, stalls, or any commercial sales at the venue shall be permitted only with prior approval of the Organizing Committee.
16. Noise pollution standards prescribed by the local administration must be followed at the event venue.
17. Circulating false or misleading information that damages the reputation of the organization through media or social media shall be treated as a disciplinary offense.
18. Display of banners, posters, or promotional materials during the event shall be allowed only with permission from the organizing authority.
19. Each participant shall be personally responsible for the safety of their belongings.
20. The Federation reserves the right to amend these rules from time to time as required.
21. All participants shall agree to comply with the Federation’s code of conduct, rules, and guidelines.
22. In case of any legal dispute, jurisdiction shall be limited to the courts of the respective State / District Headquarters.
23. Photography and videography during the event shall be allowed only by authorized media or authorized persons.
24. No participant shall misuse personal information of another participant without permission.
